Description

El Doradillo Protected Area was created to conserve the integrity of the landscape while maintaining its current natural conditions. The area is one of the few places in the world where southern right whales can be observed from the coast during the breeding season. The scenic beauty of the landscape and other coastal and marine species present in the area have generated a strong interest in the area, with an important flow of tourists. Together with the areas of Península Valdés and Punta Buenos Aires, they form a landscape unit with articulated management among its enforcement authorities.
